This term our pod has been getting together every second Tuesday to participate in Tuakana-Teina learning opportunities.
The students were asked for the sorts of things they would like to do during this time and this formed our planning for the term.
One of the most successful activities was a team treasure hunt I designed.
Children had to use a range of skills, such as-use communication skills and problem solving skills. They also had to work collaboratively, with mixed ages and abilities in their groups.
