Being safe online

As part of the Keeping Ourselves Safe program I have been talking with the students in my class about what they do when they are online, what they know you can do online but cannot do.
We generated a brainstorm and from this I discovered that one of their favorite games allows players to chat with each other.

 

I wondered if parents awerere aware of this so through my class Seesaw account I have shared this brainstrom and the additional talking points that arose. I did this because I digital safety has to be a joint partnership between school and home.

I can teach children how to be safe but parents need to take responsibility for thier childrens online activities at home.
