Term 1 was a tricky term and the behaviours i class were causing me to use my voice a lot to correct behaviours. After a conversation with other team members I decided to try a visual chart on the class wall where children's names move up and down according to their behaviours.
This has proved to be effective for the past 2 weeks and I am now considering phasing it out and moving to more of a class reward system. I don't 100% like having the kids names up on display for parents and children to compare. However it is individual behaviours that I need to encourage rather than the class as a whole.
