Am I being fair?

My literacy activities are highly independent and children have to take responsibility for their learning and mark off tasks as they complete them. I had grouped the children based upon their ability to prioritise their learning tasks. For the majority of children this has been successful but I have noticed that the 6 children that have to leave class for supplementary reading support (Quick 60 and ESOL) struggle to get all of the tasks completed. To accommodate these children I have adapted their activities to a more manageable amount so they will have enough time to get tasks done.
