Developing resilience and problem solving in my students

From my RBL observation I have been focusing on how I can help build resilience and problem solving abilities within my class.
During Literacy time I have been spending the first 5-10 minutes of the lesson going through the activity expectations and answering student questions. We have been co-constructing expectations and what to do when you are stuck help charts.
Overall the number of interupotiong to my teaching time has dropped dramatically and I have removed the need for children to write down what activities they are working on, rather just starting their work with an activity that is above the line, therefore a top priority.
